From library fines to activity fees, our Fines and Fees program tracks all that a student accrues. User-defined letters can be generated with reports to determine who is running a balance. This provides parents an easy and convenient way to pay via the Parent Portal. Additionally, it can be used to track registration fees and tuition for Adult or Continuing Education as well as private schools, vocational schools, and small colleges.
Realtime’s Student Information System tracks all of the following fees or fines and can easily be customized to suit your particular needs: Lost Book Fines, School Club or Activity Fees, Private School and all Vocational School Registration Fees/Tuition, Adult or Continuing Education Registration Fees/Tuition, Private College Registration Fees/Tuition and Restitution for Damaged Property.

We currently have been using all of the available modules for over 3 years now. This has both saved us a considerable amount of money as well as vertically integrated student and staff record keeping. NJSMART and federal/state submissions are (literally) as easy as running a report of existing data in their system.
I would like to suggest that you look into Realtime. We use this at several school districts including Manchester Regional, Harrington Park, Prospect Park, North Haledon, Wanaque, and Haledon Public. Realtime only services NJ school districts and caters specifically to NJ reporting including and especially NJSmart.
Realtime is very responsive and very receptive. It works. My teachers are happy. They say, wow, that’s great.
