Mobile Application Developer

Mobile Application Developer

We currently have a position available for an Entry Level Mobile App Developer.

Entry Level Mobile App Develop position requires an understanding of software development and computer/server infrastructure. Further, candidate must also be able to logically reason through problems and present alternatives in a clear and concise fashion.

Job Requirements

  • Code, test, and document changes for new functionality and enhancements in both mobile and server-side applications
  • Participate in design discussions and technical meetings.
  • Understanding of technical requirements and ability o work independently or with a team.

Experience/Knowledge Requirements

  • At least 2 years of programming experience (including coursework)
  • Android and/or iOS (Swift) experience
  • Demonstratable fluency in basic HTML / CSS
  • Some knowledge of Javascript / jQuery

In addition, a successful candidate will be able to:

  • Create and challenge requirements clearly and concisely when appropriate.
  • Understand the fundamentals in web development and programming, applying them as needed.
  • Learn and follow proper coding standards.
  • Work independently with a high sense of urgency and ability to adapt to situations quickly.

Preferred Experience

  • UI experience is a plus.
  • Git and Github source control is helpful.
  • Coldfusion, Ruby on Rails, PHP, C#,  ASP.net  (or similar).
  • SQL Server or other relational database.

Software Support Specialist responsibilities include resolving issues, supporting, and training clients via phone, email, or computer.

Job Requirements

  • Become familiar with the software applications to guide users through step by step solutions
  • Be able to multitask between numerous issues and problems at one time
  • Use analytical and problem-solving skills that will allow you to gather information from customers in enough detail to diagnose their issue
  • Employ adaptation by switching between multiple tasks and still complete all tasks
  • Be focused and organized so that all customer support tickets get handled and not forgotten
  • Document client software issues
  • Guide clients to the use of self-help resources
  • Identify issues for the attention of developers and management
  • Be able to work effectively with others in a team environment
  • Research and evaluate State and Federal rules and regulations as needed

Beneficial Experience

  • Experience working with student applications in a school setting and/or knowledge of a student special education program.
