Lesson Planner
As we have done in all of our offerings Realtime brings the ease of a totally integrated system to lesson planning. The Lesson Planner includes powerful tools:
- A suite of functions to develop daily and unit plans in individual, department or district defined formats.
- Text boxes for each component of the plan so each section is saved to a database for easy retrieval and analysis.
- It is not a simple word processor although it has full word processor functionality.
- Pictures can be included and files can be attached to a lesson plan.
- Assignments, graded or ungraded, can post automatically to the Grade Book and to the calendar and Grade Book section of both the Parent and StudentPortals.
- Standards taught are tracked by the system throughout the year. Several views of the plan can be printed or even exported in a Word format. Plans can be viewed individually, by day, by section or by entire week in
subject or calendar format. - For schools with Master Schedules, the Lesson Planner automatically pre-fills courses and sections.
- For Elementary Schools a calendar view allows subjects and activities to be dragged to the appropriate day and time frame.
- Supervision can approve/disapprove individual lesson plans, or entire weeks of plans and attach appropriate comments or notes to each.
